I am an EAL Primary School Teacher . (for over 20 years)
PHONIC SOUNDS ( not letter names ) WELL DONE !
This is far & away the best resource I have ever bought ( I bought 13).
Such a simple idea but there is nothing like it on the market .
It is well made & beautiful.
It makes the phonic sounds AFTER the children replace the part.
This is great because they have chance to guess first.
All children would really benefit from this game.
I have been using it with all age groups . Age 4-11.
Even the 11 year olds love it !
Many parents have asked for information on where to buy it.
Really should be in every classroom & home .
Great for adults too … some of the bilingual parents have said is really helpful.

    Amazing resource!
I have been a Primary School Teacher and Literacy Leader for 10 years. My passion was always phonics and so I set up Active Phonics and now run pre-school phonics sessions in nurseries, as well as providing informative phonics workshops for parents. One of the first things which I bought was this puzzle….followed by the second sounds puzzle! Everybody who I introduce it to absolutely loves it, especially parents. Parents always leave our phonic workshops with this puzzle on the top of their ‘to buy’ list. Not only is it a great, fun resource for children but it also helps parents learn the correct pronunciation of the phonic sounds. There really is nothing else out there like it! I can’t praise this puzzle enough 🙂
