What an amazing event hosted by the Mayor of London to celebrate Eid ul Fitr.
It was great to see so many Londoners and visitors from all backgrounds at Eid in the Square in Trafalgar Square, to celebrate Eid al Fitr.
Our Omar and Hana mascots were absolute superstars. They made so many children smile and laugh as they posed for photos, gave high-fives, hugs and cuddles.
These YouTube sensations even had their debut performance on stage in Trafalgar Square! And the crowd went wild!
A big Thank you to the beautiful ballerinas of Grace and Poise Ballet Academy, who delivered a stunning performance on stage and stopped by to show their love and support for our Lina & Dina Ballerina dolls!
Omar & Hana Meet and Greet at ASDA
We had an absolutely overwhelming response to our “Omar and Hana, Meet and Greet” events! Families queued to meet their favourite YouTube characters Omar and Hana!
The Desi Doll Company Ltd. in collaboration with ASDA arranged the Meet and Greet event at 5 Superstores – London: Wembley, Park Royal, Colindale, and Manchester: Eastland and Longsight.
It gave us such pleasure to see so many children turn up! We loved spending the weekend watching the high fives, the cuddles, the giggles and the smiles on the children’s faces.
Eid at Westfields London
Westfield London got taken over on Eid bank holiday weekend like never before. Eid was the mood, Eid was the food, shopping, entertainment, and Eid was the reason behind the record breaking numbers of people that came to Europe’s biggest retail destination this weekend. Over 350,000 people were in Westfield London over this three-day epic celebratory weekend.
We are overwhelmed by visitors to our stand and the stories they told us.
Hearing about how your children love our toys and how they help making learning about Islam fun means so much to us.
Omar and Hana Meet and Greet at Halal Food Festival Birmingham
Our time at @thehalalfoodfestival at the NEC Birmingham was amazing Al’Hamdulillah. We saw so many of you amazing supporters, made loads of kids smile and had a blast! Our Omar and Hana mascots were a huge success with over 100 families coming along to the meet and greet. A huge thank you to the sponsors @islamicreliefuk for their help on the day. Over 20,000 people attended SubhanAllah.
